The Csók István Gallery és Antique store has been providing assistance in the domestic and foreign sales of various works of art, jewelry and numismatic items for several decades.
One of the various acceptance schemes is the so-called commission sale. During the commission sale, the Consignor entrusts our store with the sale of his own work of art(s). A Commission Agreement is written during acceptance, in which the parties list the given works of art and fix their Acceptance price based on mutual agreement. Our store guarantees that the received items will not be sold below the Acceptance Price!
The contract concluded this way is for a fixed period of 3 months, during which time Csók István Galéria és Antikvitás will attempt to sell the received artefacts in its own store or online via its webstore. In the event of a successful sale, the Consignor is entitled to the full amount of the Acceptance Price, all other costs incurred during the sale (postal fees, promotions and discounts provided during the purchase) are charged to our store.
If the submitted items cannot be sold within 3 months, and neither the Consignor nor the Receiver initiates the termination of the contract, it will be extended and continue indefinitely. All other information is recorded in our contract terms and conditions.
We have our own online store with thousands of items, and we also organize online international auctions with a few formats every year! The location of our store is also a guarantee of successful sales, as many foreign tourists visit our store every day of the year in the hustle and bustle of the city center.
