A book-shaped, hinged inlaid wooden box with a Backgammon / Bagamon / game with an inlaid surface with turned, painted wooden discs; bone dices (2 pcs). The outer surface of the box has a finely machined inlaid chessboard surface with hand-turned bone figures. (complete!) Total size of the box: 4 x 15.5 x 25.5 cm. (The surface of the chess board is 13 x 13 cm, so the figures are small accordingly!) Presumably Hungarian, circa 1940-60. |
