Mithridates VI Eupator King of Pontus (121-63 BC) gold stater (striking period: 88-86 BC, Istros, during the First Mithridate War). Weight: 8.38 grams. 18 x 19 mm.

On the obverse there is a right-facing portrait of Alexander the Great with a diadem and ram horns (horns of Ammon).

On the reverse, modeled on the medal image of the Thracian king Lysimachos, Athena Nikephoros sits on a throne to the left, with a trident under the throne.
