The Csók István Gallery és Antique store has been a prominent player in the domestic art market for more than 70 years. We guarantee the originality of the items purchased from us, as we have always done in the past, and will continue to do so in all cases. We guarantee that the data and information provided in the description of the artwork correspond to reality, and our employees provide professional assistance and appropriate information during the purchase.
APPRAISAL GUARANTEE
Due to their age, our jewelry and works of art are mostly used and/or second-hand. During acceptance, they undergo a thorough inspection, during which we determine the age, technique, and main characteristics of their manufacture, but also reveal any defects. All our jewelry and works of art are presented to our customers after cleaning, polishing and, if necessary, repair and renovation.
METAL MARKING GUARANTEE
All our jewelry and precious metal artefacts contain the official Hungarian hallmarks. In the case of antique jewelry or works of art, if the original hallmark is missing or worn, they will be subsequently hallmarked at the Precious Metals Testing and Authentication Institute, where they will be provided with the currently used, official Hungarian hallmark.
CERTIFICATION AND MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
For the items purchased from us, we issue a photographic certification at the Buyer's request, which includes the most important characteristics of the purchased item, its photo, article number, date of purchase and purchase price. This certification also comes with a money-back guarantee, because in the event that what is written in it does not correspond to reality, our store will refund the purchase price to the Buyer. In the case of off-premises purchases (e.g. online, in our webstore, or over the phone), our Customers have the right to cancel without reason within 14 days.
IMPORTANT! Most of our jewelry and artefacts are antiques or used pieces made a few decades ago. We guarantee their precious metal and gem content in all cases. Since our jewelry is mostly second-hand jewelry, and in some cases even more than 100 years old, we cannot guarantee any defects or wear caused by wear, use, or even the weakness of the material, but we are happy to help solve any problems that may arise. If we can, we will remedy them. If the purchased item shows signs of external damage after the purchase, or if we find a sign that the gemstone inside has been replaced, we are unfortunately unable to accept the complaint.
