A decorative egg made of 14 K rose gold, raised on a disk-shaped pedestal, with a transparent, bright green luster enamel surface. With openwork, gilded silver appliqués, and small, faceted diamonds. Under the hinged opening egg lid, a silver elephant figure decorated with blue-green luster enamel, smaller, cabochon-cut rubies, and white luster enamel with an opal effect underneath.
